Sounds like the dog had long standing aggression issues. It could well have been that she had gotten where she was turning on her handlers with little or no provocation. As sad as it is, if you have a dog who is prone to ignoring her handlers orders and wigs out, the dog might not be adaptable to home life, especially if kids are around.
