Victim of Pontiac armed robbery beats suspect with baseball bat
The victim of an armed robbery at the In & Out Party store in Pontiac was able to get his money back after beating the suspect with a baseball bat.
According to information from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect robbed a man at the store with a propane torch and lighter.
The incident happened at 10:40 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of University.
“The victim gave the suspect the money and after the suspect walked out, he followed him out of the store with a baseball bat,” states information from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office. “The victim struck the suspect’s vehicle several times, damaging four of the windows, and also struck the suspect several times demanding the money back.”
“The suspect complied and gave money back to the victim.”
