911 tapes have been released from a stolen bus chase in Albuquerque.
The high speed chase lasted 70 miles down a highway and ended with the suspect shot by cops.
Police received several warning calls about this stolen school bus that was tearing down the highway at high speeds.
About a half dozen police officers gave chase. The pursuit had the crippled bus barreling down the road at more than 75 miles an hour.
Police say the suspect Nathaniel Shipman stole the bus. Authorities wound up using three stop sticks and a pit maneuver to stop the runaway bus.
