police rescue man trapped in love cuffs
Orange CT police officers extricated a man who had restrained himself with novelty cuffs at a sex shop. The keys that came with the cuffs didn't fit, and he became stuck. Oops!"never bring paws to a gunfight" - Jenna

During the academy when we were doing traffic stops and approaches we were told by the instructor to bring our bat belt and cuffs. He said he did not care if they were real cuffs, toy cuffs, or even fuzzy cuffs we just needed something to practice with. Well true to form one of the guys in the class brought a set of pink leopard print fuzzy cuffs. Unfortunately this joker was in my group, and guess who got to be the driver being stopped when he was up......ME. Some where out there is a picture of me on the ground face in the dirt with these fracking fuzzy cuffs on.

We had a young lady come into the station one Sunday morning several years ago. Seems she and her boyfriend had enjoyed an adventuresome evening, and then he'd left for work or some such. Leaving her still handcuffed... No, they didn't have a release. No, standard keys didn't fit. We ended up dismantling them.
Darn if it didn't take the whole squad, though! (Yes, actually one you would want to see that way.)Voting against incumbents until we get a Congress that does its job.
