Elderly School Bus Monitor Bullied By Kids From Hell (NSFW Language)
Greece School District bus monitor Karen Klein being viciously bullied by the children she was watching over went viral Wednesday, the Internet struck back with an outpouring of concern, kind words and a fundraising campaign that has raised more than $184,000 so far for Klein to use for a dream vacation.
Now, the 68-year-old is speaking out, telling the "Today" show's Matt Lauer she's overwhelmed by the amount of support she's received.
"I am amazed, I am so amazed," Klein told Lauer. "I've gotten the nicest letters, emails, Facebook messages, and it's like wow, there's a whole world out there that I didn't know."
Klein also appeared on "Fox and Friends," where she talked about how she was able to maintain her composure while the students were insulting her.
“I didn’t want to do anything to hurt anybody," Klein said in the interview. “... I have escaped a lot in my life, and I’m trying to let things go."
In the video, the lowest point of the verbal abuse came when one of the boys told Klein she didn't have any family because “they all killed themselves because they didn’t want to be near you." Klein's son took his own life 10 years ago.
With donations still pouring in to the fundraising campaign, which will not end until July 20, things may be looking up for Klein, but she still has a message for the parents of the children:
"I'm sorry that your sons acted the way they did," she told Lauer when asked what she would say to the boys' parents. "I'm sure they don't act that way at home, but you never know what they're going to do when they're out of the house."

My old shop teacher was a bus driver. In that day he would stop the bus and paddle your a$$ for using langage like that. Then you would be off the bus for a week. Screw around after that and you were suspended. You know back when the school could discipline the students?

You have to be a damn near heartless indivdual to taunt a defenseless elderly person not just to the point where she is crying but pass that. Those little bastards imho are capable of anything. I wish I would have been a kid on that bus , I would been all " What you said about my Momma?? , EEEEEEGGHHH !!!! " on their asses. The emergency door is now open !!

I remember days when bus monitors were unheard of nor needed and actions like that were a punch in the mouth.

One of the best arguments lately for corporal punishment. This is exactly where the Liberal Utopia has brought us.

delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly
promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which
holds forth the proposition that it is entirely
possible to pick up a turd by the clean end!'

One of the Dad's apologized for his son's behavior and said he was going to have a "life changing moment" because of it...hope that means a wee bit of corporal punishment and a whole lot of humble pie eating.
Also, someone started a "send her on vacation of a lifetime" fund...last time I checked it was almost $600,000. WTF? All the causes in the world..and this is what is deemed worthwhile? I think the kids were horrible..and I think that their behavior should be punished..but holy crap...she is an adult..she should have done SOMETHING to take care of it herself..and to deem it worthy of almost a MILLION dollars is just assinine. I'm sorry...but really???? Something is freaken wrong with this world.Never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way" ~Martin Luther King, Jr

There was once a time in this country when this kind of behavior would have resulted in about 3-4 jocks shutting these little pricks up on the bus, then dealing them the generous ass-beating they deserved afterward at a less conspicuous location.
There are some folks who might say that they are glad times aren't still that way, but it seems to me that there was a whole lot more peace and courtesy when people would stand up for right and make miserable little shits like this suffer an immediate penalty for deviating from the rules of common decency. One thing's sure... they'd likely be far more respectful in the future.
... and Mrs. Klein wouldn't need a vacation, either. She'd accept these turd's most sincere and profound apologies and be perfectly happy and satisfied coming to work every day.

I am glad that at least one of the parents has the nerve to make his child understand that actions have consequences.
Had I behaved like these kids did whenI was in high school I would have been in very hot water when dad found outt.May God be with you and your families as you Protect and Serve.

i could not watch the whole thing. i cannot stand bullies. people run their mouth because there is no immediate consequence. if she had smacked one of the little dick punks in the mouths they would have shut up. but then the media would say that she was wrong.

I wonder how these parents would feel if the situation was reversed and their precious angels were the victimms. They would be humming or more to the point screaming another tune.
Also seeing the picture of Dirty Harry made me think he would not put up with such nonsense He would say Do you feel Lucky punk?May God be with you and your families as you Protect and Serve.
