Jackson is getting bad. There is a killing or shooting or two on almost a daily basis. It's sad. This is the town that I ran around in as a teen with no thought of danger. Now I don't go there if I can help it and if I do I am definitley armed. Like a friend of mine said not long ago "Suburban Jackson officers are worried about reports and citations while JPD is just trying to survive..."*************************"It wouldn't take much for me to up and run...to another life somewhere in the sun."*************************"There's something inherently wrong with having to put on a bullet-proof vest and a gun to go to work."-(An old friend)
