Toronto police chief credits police overtime for drop in crimeFollowing a string of high-profile public shootings – in the Eaton Centre food court, on College Street and at a block party on Danzig Street – more than 300 officers put in long stretches of overtime.
Gun-related slayings have averaged 6.4 during that period over the last seven years; this year, there were two.

Who would have thought, more cops means less crime?
I wonder what a right to self defense and armed citizens defending themselves would do to the crime stats?Pleasing nobody, one person at a time.
