Crazy Cat Lady: Level 100
BARBERTON, Ohio — A driver who said she was mourning the death of her cat was arrested after she crashed a car into her own home, the Barberton Police Department told Fox 8 News.Video from the scene showed the vehicle, which had apparently gone airborne, stuck halfway inside and halfway outside the home on Cherry Street in Barberton.A call was made at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday reporting the accident.According to Lt. Brian Jamison, the driver, identified as Beth Jones, 41, was heavily intoxicated.After being removed from the vehicle, Jones was taken to Summa Barberton Hospital for evaluation.Results of a blood test are pending.Shortly before making her way to Cherry Street, Jones allegedly hit another home about a block and a half away on Northview then left the scene.
