I tend to avoid places that try to give me anything without paying for it. All I need is some local, yahoo, shit-bisquit whining that they saw me get a free $1.29 cup of coffe at the local convenience store!

I rarely eat at McDonald's, but there is one who gives free food to cops. I went inside once and had the manager yell across to the guy ringing me up, "He's a cop- he gets it for free." Meanwhile there were a boatload of customers waiting in line. They were all looking at me. I was pretty embarrassed.
I dropped some money on the counter. The kid said, "No, it's free."
I said, "Then I guess the next person in line can use that money for their meal."
