Former bank robber learned law in prison, had 2 petitions reviewed by Supreme Court, and is now in law school
The 37-year-old father of two served 10 years in federal prison for robbing five banks in the late 1990s. While in prison, he became such an adept jailhouse lawyer that two of his petitions were reviewed by the U.S. Supreme Court.

So a crook becomes a lawyer normally it's the other way round but lets run with it.

he may have higher moral standards then most lawyers
