Michigan State Police arrested Williams on Sept. 29 after they responded to an accident on Boyer Road, near Country Club Road in Bear Creek Township.
Williams is charged with resisting and obstructing police in an investigation, a two-year felony.
This was Williamsí second arrest while wearing a Batman costume. In May 2011, police arrested Williams after they received a report of a man dressed as Batman on the roof of a downtown Petoskey business.When officers arrived, they found Williams, dressed as Batman. He was carrying a baton-type striking weapon, a can of chemical irritant spray and a pair of sand-filled gloves. As a result, Williams was sentenced to six months probation during which he was not to wear any costumes, including the Batman costume.
