looking at moving it closer to parliament. Well it's politicians who will now make day to day policing decisions so why not!
New Scotland Yard, where they are now and have been since about 1969, is rented from a private company called Land Securities. The original Scotland Yard is still owned by the Met Police and is still in use as offices and a Mounted Branch stable, is actually called Great Scotland Yard.
