The old sheriff was attending an awards dinner when a lady commented
on his wearing his sidearm. "Sheriff, I see you have your pistol. Are you
expecting trouble?" "No Ma'am. If I were expecting trouble, I would have
brought my rifle."

The trouble with our liberal friends is not that they are ignorant,
it is just that they know so much that isn't so.

From what I understand, he let the Social Worker in his house. That was his biggest mistake. They have NO business entring his house without a court order. He did say that the Police were there because Childrens Service requested their presense; that they stayed out on the pordch and did not try to enter. Just an example of liberals trying to run your life.

Utter bullshit. I have to assume the cops were merely requested by CPS to assist on a visit, with no further details until they arrived. At that point, they should have said no, we're not doing anything but making sure you're safe. You deal with this crap, Ms. CPS. (And where the hell have you been on the cases where I did need you?)
There's a barely colorable argument that the kid has access to guns -- but who the hell was taller and taking the picture? Wait -- does that mean the kid was SUPERVISED?Voting against incumbents until we get a Congress that does its job.

That would not have been a warm welcome at my home.

My parents still have pics of me as a kid holding dead critters - the first big mouth bass I caught and a beaver my dad trapped. I bet CPS would have been beating the door down for exposing a five year old to that. Imagine the uproar if my first target practice lesson was recorded - at six year old. The summer camp I went to at 13 taught weapons safety and I took the blue ribbon on the target range. I should have, I'd been using firearms for seven years by then.
The pussification of our society is continuing at an alarming pace.\\` ` ` ` < ` )___/\

Wow, that is just ridiculous. I find it just insane that NJ department of children and families get all upset over a .22 cal rifle. Oh because it looks like an assault rifle?! Give me a break! If the kid had issues at home/school maybe I can understand why NJ dept of children and families would intervene. I don't see anything wrong in the picture that shows a normal happy kid. I guess some people don't appreciate the second amendment.

Social workers do that here too. They get summery judgments, basically a judge's verbal blessing to take kids. I've told them I will not force anyone to do anything without a signed court order. Some think I'm crazy, but I have to have a warrant to take a phone or other STUFF, yet they think taking kids based on their word is fine

Had a social worker ask for a deputy to meet her at a certain residence to make contact with the residents on a child care investigation. When I got there she said she had been knocking for quite a long time. She called us to kick the door. She received an education. Her reply. Well that's just stupid. Why did I even call you then? My reply. Good damn question. Have a nice day.
