Piece of plane that crashed into World Trade Center discovered in alley
A piece of landing gear from one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center towers on 9/11 has been discovered in a small alley near Ground Zero more than 11 years after the terror attacks.
Officials say that the part was found at 11 a.m. Friday, when surveyors hired by the owner of 51 Park Place reported what they thought was damaged machinery behind the building. It was wedged between a mosque site and a luxury high-rise apartment building near the World Trade Center.

I'm surprised the debris found at all. We're talking about an "alley" that is 18 inches wide between two high rise buildings, a quarter mile from ground zero. The odds of landing gear finding their way there, without going through a building first, seem astronomical. Of course there are already conspiracy theorists saying this is part of an ongoing coverup. The area is now being searched for possible human remains. Although this is reopening the wound for many, hopefully it can bring closure to someone's family.
