Masked cancer patient mistaken for bank robberA cancer patient wearing a surgical mask narrowly escaped arrest after he was mistaken for a bank robber when he went to withdraw money from his bank.Californian lymphoma patient, Joe Jaramillo, went against his doctor’s orders the day after receiving chemotherapy to visit his Wells Fargo branch in Montebello on Friday morning.Jaramillo, 57, was wearing the mask to ward off the risk of getting an infection from being out in public.
While Jaramillo was waiting for his turn at the till, the tellers had already alerted the authorities, who surrounded him when they arrived at the scene.'The next thing I know, I have six Montebello police officers around me, standing there saying, “Can you stand up, can you put your hands above your head?”’ he tells KCAL-TV.‘This is so embarrassing, you have all these people at the bank [watching],' says Jaramillo. The surgical mask, along with his cap, worn low over his eyes, apparently sparked suspicion, despite him showing his ATM card and identification. He had also told the teller that he was wearing the mask due to his chemotherapy the day before.
The officers, some armed with shotguns, questioned the cancer patient and searched his car until they realised the sick man was innocent and let him go.

I'd arrest him just for wearing a San Francisco giants hat.'Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a
delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly
promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which
holds forth the proposition that it is entirely
possible to pick up a turd by the clean end!'

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.
