Opelousas husband tells police: ‘I can’t wait to kill again’
OPELOUSAS — Constance Moran lay on her bedroom floor, bloodied by multiple stab wounds her husband told police he had inflicted.
“The last thing she told me was that she loved me, I looked at her straight in the eyes and said I love you too baby,” Hank Moran told police.
Then, he said, he stabbed her one last time in her esophagus.
Much of what Hank Moran said Tuesday morning to arresting Opelousas police Pvt. Morris Leday is contained in an arrest affidavit written by Opelousas police Sgt. Crystal LeBlanc.
Included in the document are Moran’s warning that he liked killing and would do so again.
It was gratifying, he said.
Moran remains on suicide watch at the St. Landry Parish Jail, Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said Thursday.
