    Highest BAC of the year?

PD: Montville man's BAC more than 3 times legal limit - WFSB 3 Connecticut

Police in New London, CT, arrested a man for DUI after he crashed into three cars. Two breath tests were conducted showing BAC of 0.351 and 0.371%. You must be a real pro to get behind the wheel at 4+ times the legal limit instead of passing out. I haven't heard of a higher BAC this year. Can anyone top this?

Closest we've had that I can recall is a .29... And she was surprisingly functional, though rather more concerned about her flat tire than the 1/4 mile long trail and huge puddle of tranny fluid under her car...

Wow that is what you call a drinking instructor. He is one shot away from breaking .40

I had a .36 PBT with a final DataMaster test of .32 a few months ago.

Edit - I may have to double check on the PBT result.

He also told police that he had consumed “a bottle of vodka and a couple of beers” before going to the liquor store, according to the complaint.
A blood draw later determined his blood-alcohol content to be .454,

I can't recall anyone this year that had an especially high BAC. I had a .32 a couple weeks ago. Drinkers in the .3's aren't the norm for us..but they aren't terribly uncommon either.

The best recollection I have of a super high BAC was a "greater than" .60 on a PBT a few years ago. Our PBT's apparently don't go higher than .60.

That guy died a couple weeks later.

    Highest BAC Of The Year?

While he was certainly not the highest BAC of this year, he was my career high BAC at 0.42. I stopped the guy and he was a "trifecta", meaning he was:

    -Driving Drunk

-He Was Driving After Suspension (Drivers License)

    -His License Plates Were Suspended

When I dropped him off at jail they shook him down and took his pants belt. Without his belt, his pnats dropped down to his ankles. Then he proceeded to walk very slowly with his pants till around his ankles! His walk reminded me of Tim Conway from the old Carol Burnett Show!

By today's standards, the jail would have never accepted him. He either would have gone to Detox or possibly even the Emergency Room! I used to hear people say 0.40 is dead or 0.50 or whatever. I checked Wiki and there are some even more extreme cases. I am surprised that the .627% and .708% didn't die of alcohol poisoning!

Blood alcohol content - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

".....In December 2009, a South Dakota woman was found behind the wheel of a stolen car with a measured blood alcohol content of .708%, almost nine times the state's limit of .08%, thus becoming the highest recorded level of alcohol toxicity for the state. After she was hospitalized, she was released on bond and subsequently found in another stolen automobile while under the influence.[62]

In August 2012, an Iowa man was arrested for driving under the influence. Breathalyzers and subsequent lab tests confirmed a BAC of .627%, over 8 times the legal limit for driving. At that blood alcohol level, he was conscious, yet incoherent and unable to answer simple questions....."

My .36 PBT from above was actually a .34 that tested a .32 on the DataMaster.

KCRG reported that the highest BAC believed to ever be recorded in Johnson County was registered in 2012 when a 24-year-old manís blood showed a 0.627.
They said he first registered a .467 percent reading on a Breathalyzer test before the testing instrument simply read "HI," police said.

I was in the middle of another, very minor, assignment when I drove up behind a car that was driving up and over the curb and then back down into the street. When I hit the lights, the driver went up and over the raised median, scraped the bottom of the car and started kicking up sparks. This was all captured on in car video. Plus she is also on video being a huge b****. She was a .309 on the PBT. She refused the chemical test. This was DUI number three for her, plus she refused so she is looking at felonies in district court. I waiting for the CA to let her plead it back down to second offense which is typically how these things go. In addition, I see her car parked at the bar just about every night, so I'm sure she will get picked up again before this DUI is finished.

Hopefully she doesn't hurt or kill anyone before then.
