Police Investigate Motorcycle Crash Involving Police Cruiser

PALMER PARK, Md. (AP) - One man is dead, and two people are critically injured after a fiery crash between a speeding motorcycle and a Prince George's County police cruiser.
Corporal Diane Richardson says the male driver of the motorcycle was killed in the crash along the 12,900 block of Baltimore Avenue late last night. A female passenger on the motorcycle is in critical condition.
The male officer, whose car caught fire, is being treated for serious burns on about 30 percent of his body.
An initial investigation shows the vehicles collided and caused the car to flip over. The motorcycle may have become trapped underneath the burning car.
