Angry man accidentally shoots himself in the groin with a 9mm...charges to come

HOQUIAM, Wash. -- A Hoquiam man who accidentally shot himself in the groin could face charges of reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm within the city limits.

Police responded to a report of shots fired Saturday night and found the 21-year-old man bleeding.

He told officers he was upset by personal issues and had fired the gun in the air. While putting the 9 mm handgun back in his waistband it accidentally fired again.

When I first came on the dept., one of the vice cops did that. He'd had a few too many beers and was fighting with his wife after he got home. I guess he was pissed when he pulled his gun out of his belt 'cause he shot himself right through the old Johnson.

About 8 year later, he shot and killed an escaping prisoners. He had the dubious honor of having shot two pricks in his career.
