PLANO, Texas -- Plano police are investigating a dead body found in the trunk of a car parked at a Sam's Club on the 300 block of Coit Road.
Officer Jerry Minton said police were called to the scene at about 8 a.m. Friday after someone reported a foul odor emanating from the car.
Due to its condition, Minton said he was not sure if the body inside the 2005 silver Toyota Camry was male or female.
The body has been released to the Collin County Medical Examiner who will work to identify the body.
No further details were immediately available

But did it have poodles???
Yeah. we had a POS in the town next to where I live murder his daughter a few years back... Everyone including the father searched night & day for her, then finally they found her in the trunk of his or his girlfriend's car in his girlfriend's apartment parking lot, in Dallas I think, dozens miles away - Kind of a male Susan Smith, crying on TV, pleading for her return, and all that shit - There was a whole town full of people ready to do serious bodily harm to him.
Trace back where the criers & pleaders have been.

We had one of those a while back... body in a car (with the door ajar) outside a motel by the dump... and a stray dog (not a poodle, sorry) had started gnawing on it.

Ugh, this is morbid, but I bet this is the next Carfax commercial.

06-10-06, 04:24 PM #8The male version of Susan Smith is Scott Peterson, dumping his pregnant wifes body in the SF Bay while on a fishing trip, going to gatherings set up to look for his wife, lying to his girlfriend. Psychopath was put away for a good long time. He still claims to be innocent.

06-11-06, 02:31 AM #10That is sad... I don't know if its the worst. This guy right here http://www.amw.com/fugitives/brief.cfm?id=25245 Robert Fisher killed his family and then walked away from his house just before blowing it up in Scottsdale, Az. The kids were 12 and 10 years old. Killed the whole family because the wife was asking for a divorce.

A former academy classmate and myself stopped a car to investigate a domestic violence call a few years back. The driver was super nervous and we cuffed and detained him because ( at the time) he was freaking out for no reason. Once we put him in a patrol car, he broke down crying and confessed to the whole thing. Sure enough, his wife was in the trunk. He had beaten her to death, freaked out, stuffed her in the trunk, and had been driving around with her for over 24 hours. The victims mother called us and said she was afraid for her daughter based on an earlier phone call. Boy, she was right. The guy was booked for murder, but later transferred to a mental health facility.
