NESTOR A young girl suffered a fractured jaw last night when the car she was riding in collided with a Border Patrol agent's vehicle, San Diego police said.

Officers said a woman driving with two young passengers ran a red light westbound on Coronado Avenue in the southern San Diego neighborhood about 8:40 p.m. The Border Patrol agent was going north on Saturn Boulevard and broadsided the woman's car.
Police blocked the intersection for an investigation. Paramedics took one girl, age 4 or 5, to Children's Hospital. No one else was injured.
