Bush Gropes German Chancellor
Just kinda Strange...
Actually I guess it's even stranger that so many people like me
are posting it, since he didn't grope any good parts

NEW YORK -- Take the leader of the free world giving a quick massage to the German chancellor and you've got one of the most watched videos in cyberspace.
It barely runs five seconds. But in that time you see President George W. Bush walk behind Angela Merkel and quickly rub her back. The chancellor immediately hunches her shoulders, throws her arms up and grimaces, though she appears to smile as Bush walks away. The incident happened during a summit in Russia.
YouTube.com is among the Web sites where the video is getting plenty of play. Other sites have still pictures of the incident. It was even the butt of jokes on the "Daily Show."
University of Virginia politics professor Larry Sabato said it's more proof that these days, public figures have to be more careful than ever.
As Sabato put it, "Almost any male alive today knows that you don't offer uninvited massages to any female, much less the Chancellor of Germany."
On YouTube, people posted the video with subject lines including:

Bloggers across the Web had fun with the situation.
The writer for Firedoglake.com wrote, "He's like your drunk uncle at the family barbecue; insulting the neighbors, interrupting conversations, tripping over the pets, until finally he's puking loudly and violently in the yucca plant and calling his new wife a stupid (expletive) for letting him get too wasted."
Taylor Marsh wrote, "This is why Iraq and the Middle East are in flames
, and we have no credibility around the world. We have a prepubescent president in charge. It is an outrage."
And another blogger, a writer for DocStrangeLove.com references the Middle East, saying "While the Middle East burns, our fearless leader is busy with his frat boy pranks."
All over the Web, there are blogs upon blogs discussing the uninvited back rub. Bush, like many other politicians, is learning to watch what what he does in public. Anything done in public can, and likely will, show up somewhere online.
Just ask Howard Dean about his infamous "Dean Scream."Last edited by TXCharlie; 07-24-06 at 08:42 PM.

Oh Jesus Christo.... It's going to get to the point where Bush can't take a proper dump without someone criticizing it!
"Look! He wipes back to front! No wonder our troops are getting killed!!!"The virtue of spirit has no need for thanks or approval. Only the certain conviction that what has been done is right. -Jor El, as played by Marlon Brando
