Seeing that the Media in this town doesn't like to report anything about the police unless it involves the prosecution of the poor non criminal minorities, or any scandals involving money, sex or u name it. Here is the story:

The police officer was chasing and armed offender and recovered a serious amount of crack. The chase went across Cicero Av, (Rt 50) which is a 6 lane street over there and is really busy no matter what time of day that it is. Someone driving the unmarked car went to cut them off as they crossed Cicero Av, at which time the offender went behind the squad and the officer on foot caught him. They were wrestling on the ground and allegedly the car was left in reverse and they both were trapped under the car. Officers saved the useless offender and the officer by jacking the car up and pulling them out from underneath.

Sorry, yes he had a collapsed lung and some superficial leg injuries. The Savage was treated and released of course, they never die.

Of course not! Where would the justice be in that?!

But I'm glad to hear the Officer is alive.
