4yr old shoots 18 month old
I thought the idea of a babysitter was to watch the kids, doesn't sound like she was doing too good of a job. Plus who would have a loaded gun around a 4 yr old and 18 month old... Well, look at the house and maybe that will help. This kind of shit pisses me off.Toddler Accidentally Shoots Infant in Claiborne Co.

Police are investigating a shooting involving a four-year-old child and a toddler that happened Friday morning in Claiborne County.
A babysitter's four-year-old son and her 18-month-old nephew were playing in the living room while she was watching another child in a bedroom.
The four-year-old found a loaded 22-caliber pistol and shot the younger boy in the chest.
The boy remains at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville tonight.
His condition has not been released. It is better to be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

Ditto.
There's only two safe places to hide a gun when a 4-year-old is around - In your waistband or in a locked safe.

It's Tennessee, they don't consider a 22 a lethal weapon. (No offense to any one from Tennesee, I used to live there and I have seen it first hand.)

I'm in TN and never heard anything about a 22 not being considered a lethal weapon.

I was being sarcastic too... Although, it wouldn't suprise me if they did pass something like that at some point. Cause just about everyone in TN carries a 22 of some kind anyways. It is better to be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

The husband of a woman I went to high school with always had a pistol in the glove box of his pickup. One day he ran in a store to get some cigarettes and left the boys in the pickup. Their 5 year old pulled the gun out of the glove box and shot his little brother and killed him.
Horrible for everyone, especially the little guy who pulled the trigger. That's gotta haunt him the rest of his life. When I used to be somebody (I'm center top)

it's sad, but we all know, dumb ass parents leave loaded guns laying around. I wished I could make a law, hold the parents on 1st degree murder if that kid dies..
My Guns are unloaded and not in the home. when I need to go hunting, I know where to go to get them.
it's a sad shame these things happen....

Of course I never did.
My guns are all locked either in my closet or in the gun safe. We don't leave them laying around anywhere at all unloaded or not. And guess what I'm in TN lol
