Just after midnight Wednesday, Metro Police officers were trying to arrest a man for driving a stolen truck when they said he rammed their car with one officer still inside, then took off.

The incident happened at a gas station on Old Hickory Boulevard in Hermitage.

Officers said after he rammed the patrol car, the suspect backed up and hit a gas pump before driving off.

The driver was last seen driving a white Chevy S-10 pick-up truck with no tailgate.

He is wanted on charged of felony aggravated assault on a police officer.

If you recognize the man, call Metro Police.
It is better to be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

So, that guy is drug free, right? Anyway. I had a kid the other night hit one of the county vice vehicles. I was the officer for the city, but by the time I got to the scene there was already six other sets of blue lights. The really funny thing was that it was an undercover unit. The kid didn't know he hit a cop until the vice guy gets out, holding his lower back and adjusting his gun. The look on the kids face was priceless.
    And Shepards we shall be,
for thee, My Lord, for thee,
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy Command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls will it ever be.
