Woman buys gun, and marijuana to rid herself of pre-wedding night jitters
Everyone handles the pre-wedding day jitters a little differently. Some may stay up all night, sleepless with anticipation. Others may go out with friends, grab a drink and bid farewell to the single life.
Then there is a 29-year-old Milwaukee woman who chose to gear up for the biggest day of her life by checking into a hotel for a night spent with some pot, a handgun and a man other than the one she planned to marry.
Police were doing a walk-through at the Exel Inn, 115 N. Mayfair Road, at 12:34 a.m. Aug. 23 when they smelled marijuana coming from the woman's room.
The woman told police she and the man she was with wanted "one more night" together before they got married to other people.
They rented the hotel room and brought the marijuana to relax, she said.
Police also found a loaded semiautomatic handgun in the woman's car. She told police she is a "good person" and doesn't know why she had the marijuana or gun.

I have heard of shot gun weddings, but not handgun and maijuana ones.
It's all fun and games, until the police arrive

I hate when the media makes it sound like excercising your Constitutional freedom to keep and own a firearm is a criminal act. The liberal media won't rest until it is, I guess.
