An infant's last moments of life may have been in a bucket of her mother's vomit.
Three-month-old Niah Ford died Saturday after falling into the pail, police said. Niah's mother found her unconscious in the pail. It happened at Fox House, a shelter for women in Harlem.
According to police, the 18-year-old mother went out for a drink Friday night and left Niah with another resident. The mother returned, took Niah back to her room and threw up in the bucket before passing out.
The mother found Niah Saturday afternoon, police said. The baby was rushed to Mount Sinai Medial Center where she was pronounced dead. There were no other signs of trauma or abuse.
Police questioned the mother, however, she has not been charged.
The medical examiner will perform an autopsy.

You know what, If I was on that call and I ended up showing up to the house for a baby that was drowned in her own mothers vomit. I would have arrested her on the spot for child neglect and child endangerment. I am a mother of a 10 month old and I dont give any respect out to those people who neglect there baby's for alcohol or abuse the child in anyway.
Life is a fleeting memory,
It come and goes,
But one thing will always remain.
That is History.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. I think the dirtbag should have been shoved face first into the same pail and held there until she stopped wriggling.
