Has anyone seen those rounds
Oops
Armed policeman loses 15 bullets
An armed policeman has lost more than a dozen bullets while on duty in the Nottingham city area.
Police said a metal holder containing 15 bullets were lost by the officer sometime between Tuesday night and the early hours of Wednesday.
They said that, while the bullets do not in themselves represent a danger to members of the public, they could be dangerous if mistreated.
An investigation into the loss is being carried out.
The holder is black in colour and approximately six inches long.
Nottinghamshire Police have urged anyone who finds the bullets to contact them.
This is the third time the force has appealed for help from the public in finding lost bullets.

Maybe this is why most of the cops over there aren't allowed to carry guns.
I bet it was LongTail

Without the whole story, I can't judge the guy.
If you haven't lost cuffs, your packset, an Asp, a magazine, etc. etc. etc in a foot chase, hopping a fence, a good tussle, etc. etc. etc, then you either haven't been a cop for long or you're a lazy one who doesn't ever fight or chase anyone.

Bullet holder?
Is that a magazine, or is there something else that holds 15 bullets?

Hey, I lost a mag from my Browning once, after a head on crash, when I needed to crawl across the seats to get out. I laid on the mag release without knowing it and the mag fell out. Fortunately another officer found it and gave it to me before I even knew I lost it.

Did he lose just the bullets (projectiles), or the actual entire cartridge...

Lost Bullet Holder
While being interviewed by a reported, Mr. Sam Colt said: His little .38 was such a nice guy. He took care of his family of two mothers, 5 bros and sisters and 3 children of his own, along with his two girl friends. He couldn't find a job but going to fine one soon. All he wanted to do was get away from the drugs and bad friends. Just because they (bullets) fell from the cylinder doesn't make him a bad revolver. He is just misunderstood and didn't mean no harm.
