Alleged Bank Robber Leaves Behind Key Evidence
Edward Randle Left Behind Stub With Address
(CBS) CHICAGO Carelessness on the part of a bank robbery suspect likely made it fairly easy to charge him with the heist.
Edward Randle turned himself into police on Wednesday. He is now accused of robbing a branch of the North Community Bank in the Lakeview neighborhood.
But during the robbery, he left behind a key piece of evidence. He took off his shirt and jacket while running off, according to prosecutors.
When he threw them to the ground, he left behind a pay stub with his name and address that was in his jacket pocket.
