Stupid Crooks
This probably won't make the print news:
A sharp eyed CSO noticed something not quite right last night. At the Salvation Army Thrift store, 2 subjects were seen taking things out of the donation box, not putting them in the box. He notified dispatch, and patrol units were enroute. The Sergeant, who was across the street at the station made first contact. The subjects were detained with stolen property, expired vehicle tags, and false tabs.
Nice way to end my shift!

Also had a couple kids turn a beer-run into a strong arm - store manager got a good plate, and guess where the kids were - at the registered owners address!
