Officers Allegedly Served Pot In Burgers
LAS LUNAS, N.M. -- Three Burger King employees are facing charges for allegedly adding marijuana to hamburgers served to a pair of police officers.
After sinking their teeth into the burgers, the officers noticed something tasted funny, police said.
"One of the officers, when he was eating his hamburger, he said, 'This thing tastes like it has marijuana in it,'" said Lt. Joe Sanchez of the Los Lunas Police Department. "That's when he opened it up to see what was inside."
A field test showed that it was marijuana, and it wasn't long before the magic ingredient kicked in. The officers began acting strangely and their sergeant sent them to a local hospital to get checked out.
The arrested employees were Justin Armijo, 19; Robert Nuckols, 21; and their manager, Joseph Ledefma, 33.
All three have been charged with aggravated battery on an officer, which is a felony, and possession of marijuana.

I wonder if they were hoping the cops wouldn't notice, then call the PD saying they'd seen the cops smoking one. Fast way to get someone fired.

My personal fav, is to drive in through the rear and only use drive thrus that don't get a look at the car.. .Then it's pay at the window at the same time the food is coming up.
