Thread: Family murdered

This is the saddest thing I have seen in a while.
PORT ST. LUCIE - The sight of the four bodies lying in the dirt alongside the Florida Turnpike was heartbreaking enough. Two adults, two small children, all gunned down.
But what stuck with the cops was one poignant detail: The young woman had her arms clutched around the two children in an apparent effort to protect them from their killer.
Police were looking Friday for any details that would shed light on the slaying of the four -- apparently a family -- sometime in the middle of the night just north of this east Central Florida town.
Though police were able to identify the dead, they did not make their identities public until relatives could be notified.
What is known: The man was 29, the woman 25, the kids -- a boy and a girl -- between the ages of 4 and 6. All were shot several times. All were Hispanic.
The woman was ''face down holding both of her children in an attempt to put them underneath her,'' St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken Mascara said. She was ``in a defensive mode to prevent them from being shot. . . . However, whoever did this also shot the children.''
The man was directly in front of her, lying on his back.
The sheriff said the four were apparently shot several times at close range and were likely kneeling or lying on the ground when they died, about 40 feet from the roadway.

That's a horrible scene. Around here there have been arrests made for hate crimes against Hispanics. I wonder if it's possibly the same thing happening there also...???Calm Like A Bomb...

I wonder if this is a case of "someone couldn't pay for their boat ticket".
Regardless, I don't know how I'd handle myself if I rolled up on a scene like that. I can only hope the dirtbag that killed that family has to endure things no human being was meant to endure. That is beyond sad. Whoever did that is not a human being but an Animal. I hope they catch the dirtbag, fry him in court, then he endures months and years of torture and abuse behind bars."An Unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it." Jeff Cooper

The article I read mentioned a van or suv related to the scene....possible carjacking?
We see a lot of crime within the immigrant community here too...they trust each other too much....they forget that dirtbagism cuts across all races/genders.Molly Weasley makes Chuck Norris eat his vegetables.

The conversation on our end is whether this has anything to do with the Mexico Drug Cartel arrest. This was an execution period, not many car-jackings involved smoking an entire family by execution.
I guess it said the family moved there from TX about 4 months ago. Just a thought.
