Man shot, wounded by Police
Suspect allegedly pointed gun at officers
October 31, 2006 - A man is hospitalized in fair condition after a shooting with police officers in the South Austin neighborhood just after midnight.
Police were responding to reports of a man with a gun when they stopped someone in a car on West Jackson near Laramie with that description. The man tried to runaway and led police and a foot chase.
The suspect was shot after he allegedly pointed a gun at the officers.
