NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — An urban cowboy appeared to get the upper hand on a bull that was roaming the streets of New Jersey's largest city Friday.
Police managed to corral the animal in a parking lot at 114 South Street. However, the bull remained feisty, climbing over an air conditioning unit as an officer with a rope tried to move in.
Television news helicopters showed the man lassoing the brown animal, which remained defiant. However, it appeared the animal was tied up and left to tire.
It was not clear where the bull came from.
