Will definitely keep the officer and his family in prayer.

An Aurora Officer was injured in a one-car rollover Sunday night.
AURORA -- An Aurora Police officer died Monday morning, after rolling his police cruiser in a single car accident at the intersection of 6th and Laredo Sunday Night.
The crash happened at about 8:00 p.m. while Officer Doug Byrne, 37, was responding to an emergency call.
Witnesses say the officer was driving with his lights and siren on when he swerved to avoid a car stopped in the middle of the road in front of him. The squad car rolled and did a 180-degree turn and the officer was ejected.
He suffered fatal head and chest injuries. He was airlifted to Swedish Medical Center in Englewood. Doctors pronounced him dead shortly after 2:00 Monday morning.
Investigators say the driver of the car that Byrne tried to avoid hitting sped away from the scene. Police are looking for that vehicle and its driver.
Byrne was responding to a call of a man having an epileptic seizure at a park less than a mile from the accident.
The man having a seizure was reportedly in his mid-20s and died at the scene.
Aurora Police Chief Daniel Oates will hold a press conference at 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Fallen Officer Memorial at Aurora Police Headquarters.

My thoughts and prayers go out to both the officer's, and seizure victims friends and family. I hope they catch the stupid son of a bitch who stopped in the middle of the road, and then ran after he saw what he had done Just think, the officer and most likley the seizure vicim would have been alive right now.

Police Officers put themselves at risk for strangers every day. Some do not make it home to their families. Next time you think of saying something negative about the police, remember...YOU are one of the strangers.

Found blackberry riots and
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with

Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion
