Another Brother Officer killed.
My friend in France sent me this note today about his friend that was killed in the line of duty. It goes to show that regardless of race, politics, or nationality, that we are all brothers and sisters in this business.
"I heard that another Gendarme had been killed in action not far from Lyon. I imediatly thought about one of my closest friend who was there. How stunned I was when I heard that the deceased person was the number two of Chief commander of this dept. My friend is actually the number two. There was no doubt anymore when she gave his name : Norbert AMBROSSE.
My friend was 38, four little kids who have no father anymore. My sorrow is huge. I pray for them, I'm with them, again, my heart is bleeding.
Please Keith, take care, life is valuable and it's so unfair to have 4 orphans and a widow because a felon has decided that the life of a cop had no value. He was my friend, an honest, generous and strong friend, a good father, a good husband, he didn't deserve his fate. May God help him and his family.
Take care and stay safe."For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.
