Off-Duty BP Agent Down
Wrong-way driver crashes into pickup, 2 killed

SANTEE – A speeding driver going the wrong way on state Route 52 slammed head-on into a pickup truck driven by an off-duty Border Patrol agent early Friday morning. Both drivers were killed.
The crash occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway at Mast Boulevard.
Before the crash, several drivers called 911 to report the Toyota Prius was heading east, going at least 100 mph in the fast lane, said California Highway Patrol Officer Rob Sanchez. The Prius then collided with the Chevy pickup.
A woman was driving the Prius. No other information about the two drivers was immediately available.
All lanes of westbound 52 and the connector from northbound state Route 125 were closed for several hours for the investigation. The freeway reopened to traffic shortly after 5:30 a.m.Molly Weasley makes Chuck Norris eat his vegetables.
