Virginia State trooper hit on 1-64
Police are on the scene of an accident in Henrico that may involve a state trooper.
Witnesses report an increased police presence and several lanes of traffic blocked on I-64 eastbound, west of Airport Drive.
NBC12 is investigating the situation and will update with more information as it becomes available.

Police are on the scene of an accident in Henrico. Police say a State Trooper on a motorcycle was hit by another vehicle.
The accident happened between the 195 and 197 exits on Interstate 64 in the area near Airport Drive.
Police say the Trooper was taken to VCU Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The Trooper's name has not been released.
At about 8:30 this morning, one lane of traffic was still blocked as authorities investigate the accident. Traffic is heavy in the area.

That video is some RAW footage. Kinda looked like a Trooper bike. I wonder why they were all just standing around like that?

Hope the officer is okay. Had three of them myself.
