Will Agy E.O.W. 4/5/95
Twelve years ago, on April 5th, 1995, I stood over the lifeless body of my fellow officer and partner, Will Agy, as he lay in a pool of blood, having been senselessly gunned down by two low-lifes who stole not only the money from the store where he was working an extra job, but robbed us of one of the best cops I have ever known. I considered Will my mentor when I first came on in 1992; he was what I wanted to be when it came to being a cop. Fearless and confident, if Will was on your scene, there was nothing to worry about, your back was covered. Will has a memorial on the Officer Down Memorial Page where you can leave a reflection; he has only a few reflections to honor his memory, and I find that appalling, that people can forget so easily. I know that a lot of you didn’t know Will, but you don’t have to have known him to honor the memory of a fallen officer, and that’s all that I’m asking. That you honor the memory of a fallen officer who served with pride and honor, and died at the hands of a coward who represents the “bogeyman” that we all fear and Will fought. And not just Will, but take another moment to click on a random officer’s memorial and leave them a reflection, for they all fought the “bogeyman”, and now should be remembered every once in a while. Fellow officers, you of all, should know; it could be any one of us at any time, and I know we don’t like to think about it, but just like going to the police funerals, which we do because it’s kind of like an insurance policy should the worst occur. We hope that other officers will honor us by doing the same. Let’s not forget our brother officer, just copy and paste the link. Thanks for your forbearance, Frank Longoria.

We cry with you.And Shepards we shall be,
for thee, My Lord, for thee,
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand,
That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy Command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee
And teeming with souls will it ever be.

i am sorry you had to face such a tragedy
thank you for telling his storyhttp://www.allpoetry.com/Grunts%20Girl
We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
Found blackberry riots and
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion
