Need Prayers for Police Lt.
One of my best friends, Birmingham Police Lt. WD Foster, was taking a Fitness Test for the Army National Guard when he felt a strange tingling in his legs. He went to a local hospital and they told him he had to go to Birmingham for treatment. He went home to get a bath and freshen up before he went.
That was the last time he felt his legs. He was diagnosed with a Spinal Cord Stroke. He can't feel anything from his waist down. He is 6 months from retirement with the City of Birmingham. He is one of the very few Lieutenants who never forgot where he came from and he is loved by all of his Officers.
Please keep him in your prayers.

Thank you to everyone who sent their thoughts and prayers.
Lt. Foster just returned from the Mayo Clinic where the diagnosis of Spinal Cord Stroke was confirmed. He is now at home and is undergoing physical therapy. The local FOP is building him a wheelchair ramp for his house. He was having to stay in the finished basement because he could not get up the stairs to the rest of the house. Fortunately, he is not in pain. He still can't feel anything below his waist.

He is in my prayers. Snuffy, what is his prognosis? Is this treatable? I have never heard of this before.
My dad, I miss him every day.

It is possible he will be able to walk again in about two years with a brace if he sticks with his extensive therapy.
