Two BP Agents Injured
Border Patrol Agents Hospitalized After Crash
DULZURA, Calif. -- Two U.S. Border Patrol agents were hospitalized with moderate injuries Monday after their car went 50 feet down an embankment in Dulzura, a CalFire captain said.
The government vehicle went over the side of Honey Springs Road, south of Deerhorn Valley Road, around 4 p.m. Sunday, according to CalFire Capt. Nick Schuler.
One of the agents was thrown from the vehicle and it took almost an hour to cut the other from the wreckage, he said.
Both were airlifted to the hospital suffering from moderate injuries, Schuler said.
