In short, the above officer is suffering from an incurable brain tumour.
If an appeal is successful, David may be heading to take part in clinical trials in Durham, North Carolina which hopefully could extend and improve his life.
If this happens it would be great if some of the NC Law Enforcement Community could perhaps ensure he knows that he and those close to him will have some local support whilst he is undergoing the therapy.
