Fallen Deputy...friends set up memorial
We lost a Wisconsin Deputy, Kory Dahlvig, this past Sunday. He was killed Sunday by a drunk driver. The driver was charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.

Friends have set up a memorial fund to help pay for funeral costs and other expenses.

Police Officers put themselves at risk for strangers every day. Some do not make it home to their families. Next time you think of saying something negative about the police, remember...YOU are one of the strangers.

My condolences to the family. I actually know a deputy up there through my family that lives in Eagle River. I hope everybody is handling it as well as they can.
