Officer Thomas P. Coleman, California Highway Patrol
It appears that the CHP motor officer was in pursuit of a vehicle that was running from him. The car later wrecked out and 4 occupants ran out on foot but were later apprehended. The CHP officer collided with a big rig semi truck and trailer near the middle of an intersection. He was thrown and the motorcycle caught fire.
All they had to to do was stop and take their possible ticket. Instead they chose to run and put the officer at risk. Unfortunately the officer died of his injuries on the spot. How much you want to bet they were illegal aliens. SoCal is full of them.
