N.J. State Police trooper killed in Wall Township
There's not much information about this yet.
WALL TOWNSHIP — A state trooper was shot this morning near the Garden State Parkway, a state spokesman said.
Michael Drewniak, a spokesman for Gov. Chris Christie, said a trooper had been shot. He did not provide any more details.

06-16-10, 10:16 AM #4WALL TOWNSHIP — A New Jersey State Police trooper was found dead this morning near the Garden State Parkway.
According to State Police, an officer came upon a trooper car at about 7:30 a.m. on the exit ramp from the parkway to Route 34 south. A trooper was found unresponsive in the car, officials said.

I didn't hear suicide, but it's really the only logical inference that can be made given the circumstances and the fact no suspects are being sought.

06-16-10, 02:15 PM #10WALL TOWNSHIP — Authorities identified the New Jersey State Police trooper found dead this morning as Scott Graham, 35, of Keyport.
He leaves behind a wife and three young children, State Police spokesman Sgt. Stephen Jones said. Graham was a trooper for nine years and was assigned to the State Police academy in Sea Girt.
He died of a single gunshot wound to the head, Jones said. Authorities have declined to categorize his death, but said no suspects are being sought.

Glass from the drivers door blown out onto the asphalt and no suspects being sought. Sounds like they are suspecting suicide to me.
Sad that some choose this way out. It doesn't have to be this way. His family must be devastated.
