Stamford man charged in shooting of officer - Connecticut Post
"A city man with four previous felony convictions has been charged in the shooting of a Stamford police officer.
Police say Ephraim Goitom, 27, was charged late Thursday night in the shooting of Officer Richard Gasparino, who was shot in the face while executing a search warrant at a Lockwood Avenue home. Gasparino is recovering this morning at Stamford Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition Thursday night."
