Explosion rocks streets of Philadelphia
This explosion happened in my district. 4 firefighters, 3 officers, and 3 gas workers taken to hospital after this explosion last night. Gas workers are critical but firemen and officers are ok. One gas worker was missing for hours, they eventually found him dead in the basement, they were working on the 2nd floor when the explosion hit they ended up in the basement! The gas worker that was killed was only 19 and only had 2 weeks on the job. Pray for all the victims, family and everyone involved. It is a mess here, the street is completely caved in and looks like a scene out of backdraft

And yet people complained when I shut down a state highway a couple of years ago when we had a major high pressure gas line rupture. Natural gas leaks on that scale scare me.

"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

Good Lord.
Do not war for peace. If you must war, war for justice. For without justice there is no peace. -me
