Dammit.
Really?Scherf, a three-strikes offender, is serving a life sentence at Monroe and was being housed in a medium-security unit at the Monroe complex, which has five units with varying security levels.
In case it hasn't been realized.....IT'S TOO LATE!!!! SHE'S DEAD!! Sure close the barn door now that the horse is out.He has now been isolated in a segregation unit, Lewis said.Do not war for peace. If you must war, war for justice. For without justice there is no peace. -me

01-30-11, 09:11 PM #3Court records show that Scherf was first convicted of second-degree assault in 1978 and sentenced to 10 years in prison, but was paroled two years later. While on parole Scherf kidnapped a young waitress and brought her to an abandoned house where he bound and raped her. He then poured gasoline over the waitress, lit it, and left. The waitress survived by wriggling, still bound, through a second-story window.Scherf was convicted of the rape and sentenced to life in prison, but was paroled again on Dec. 30, 1993.During his second parole, he lured a female real estate agent to a remote home by posing as a potential buyer, then kidnapped and raped her. He again was convicted and sentenced to life in prison, and is now serving that sentence at Monroe.Well what the hell does it take? These type things are not handled properly because we (as a county) don't want them handled properly. The victim in that attack later sued the state, alleging that Scherf should never have been released on parole and was inadequately supervised after he was paroled. She lost the case after appealing all the way to the state Supreme Court.

I guess it wasn't on your priority list there Gov, hunh?Gregoire also said she has asked Department of Corrections Secretary Eldon Vail to conduct a thorough review of the killing, as well as a look at the safeguards in place at the Monroe Correctional Complex.Do not war for peace. I'm here. Still speechless and astounded by a system that absolutely refuses to accept that there are those in society who have no place; free or incarcerated..
This is a death sentence poster child if ever there was one. He has proven time and again that he cannot survive without injuring others. He has done everything possible to kill, but for the survival instinct and the grace of the Divine, it has taken this long for him to finally succeed... (as far as we know). Applying what we know about rapes, for every reported victim, there are more who suffer in silence, unable to emotionally handle speaking out.
Congratulations to every lawyer, judge, and prosecutor who has ever held this animal's file and did not make it your highest priority to extinguish him. Your hands are forever stained by the blood of each of these victims, (and the burnt flesh, too). While you arrogant bastards toodle out of your gated communities and down to the club or sunbathe by your marble-tiled pools, sub-humans like this continue to prowl the streets unchecked, constantly seeking out victims.
To read that one of these women fought the system all the way up in an attempt to find justice and to protect others from this maggot can only make you wonder, can it be found?
Guess what, you so-called "experts", clinging to your BMW's and your Ivy League Juris Doctorates... SHE WAS RIGHT.
May the family of Jaime Biendl stand proud of her service, and demand that her sacrifice always be remembered, honored, and that justice long deserved be finally and permanently rendered to Sherf. May Jaime rest in peace, we will continue the fight.

Tragic. Beyond tragic actually...
Hopefully, at the very least this will right some wrongs. But these things should have never happened in the first place.

A tragic lose at the hands of a true POS. RIP Officer, you will be missed far longer that the human debris that is responsible for this cowardly act.
For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.
