Off duty Richmond recruit killed in accident
Richmond police recruit dies in accident
An accident in Hanover has left a Richmond police recruit dead Friday night. It happened around 5:30 PM on Old Brook Road. Richmond Police say 33-year-old Louis Johnson, III, was on a motorcycle when an SUV tried to make a left turn in front of him. Johnson's bike hit the side of the SUV.
He was rushed to the hospital where he died. Charges are pending against the driver of the SUV.
