Another from Aiken, SC
Second officer from our city department in just over a month.
Master Cpl. Sandy Rogers has died | Aiken Standard
Aiken Public Safety Chief Charles Barranco announced this evening that Master Cpl. Sandy Rogers is dead.
Rogers was 48 years old.
The veteran officer was shot in the line of duty shortly before 8 a.m. this morning and was pronounced dead at Aiken Regional Medical Centers later in the day.

RIP Sandy. I know her family, they're great people. This is hitting the community pretty hard.
The same SOB that ambushed and murdered Sandy apparently also murdered his pregnant girlfriend earlier this morning. They've caught him, I hope he takes a gut wound from a dirty shiv in prison and dies a slow, agonizing death over the course of weeks.\\` ` ` ` < ` )___/\

Her visitation was yesterday, I went. The line to give condolences was two and a half hours long and there were only a handful of people who didn't elect to wait the full time.
